From Illness to Healing

Why am I here today, writing these lines? Why did I feel the urge to create this space? Why is it so important for me to share what I have learned—sometimes through pain?

I grew up on the shores of the Mediterranean. A simple place, close to the sea. We ate what the earth provided, we lived by the rhythm of the sun, savoring the taste of real things—just the essentials.

At 18, I decided to leave my country for another European country. I was young, curious, and eager to discover the world. Three years later, around the age of 21, my first health issues began. A pollen allergy. Nothing serious at first, I told myself. Then it escalated: fruits, dairy products, nuts, and flours—all due to gluten. Each year, a new allergy seemed to appear.
